Refund and Returns Policy for Books Purchased Online
At Linear Minds, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, we’re here to help! Please review our Test & See promise within the refund and return policy below.
1. Eligibility for Returns (defective or damaged products)
- Upon receiving the order, if the item is defective or damaged, please contact [email protected] within 7 calendar days of delivery.
- To be eligible for a return due to defective or damaged condition, the book must be unused and in the same condition you received it.
- Provide your order number, details of the defect, and any relevant photos. We will assess such situations on a case by case manner and we will organise a replacement, exchange or refund as quickly as possible.
- Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for change of mind but an exchange may be possible depending on the circumstances. Please refer to the exchange section for more information.
2. Eligibility for Returns (Test & See promise)
- Under the Test & See guarantee, you can purchase any planner and/or journal (including the Bundle Packs) and use it for 30 days to write, draw, stick or personalise it.
- If the product does not serve your purpose, you can return the product for a refund within 30 days. The refund amount will be the amount paid for the individual book or average price of the bundle pack, whichever is the lower price.
- Postage fee will not be refundable in this situation.
- To request a refund, you can email [email protected] and provide feedback on why the purchase was not suitable for you.
3. Return Process
- Contact Us: Before returning any item, please contact us at [email protected] to initiate a return.
- Package and Ship: Carefully pack the book(s) in a safe padded mailer or sturdy package box. The return shipping costs will be incurred by Linear Minds if the order arrived damaged or defective. You will need to provide an invoice or receipt of the package and shopping costs.
- Return Address: We will provide you with the return address. We recommend using a tracking option to ensure the returned items are sent through safely and accurately. If the package is lost in transit and/or untraceable, Linear Minds may not consider the return process to be complete.
4. Refunds for Damaged and Defective Items
- Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days. Refunds will be applied to your original payment method.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or a damaged item.
- If the returned item is not suitable for refunds, we will inform you of this outcome and try to organise another solution or approach to assist with the situation.
5. Exchanges
- We offer exchanges for items that arrive damaged or defective. In this case, contact us within 30 calendar days of receiving your order to arrange an exchange.
- For change of mind exchange requests, please contact [email protected] within 7 calendar days of receiving the item. Please note that shipping costs associated with returning the original item and sending the exchanged item will be incurred by you.
- Alternatively, a store credit can be organised for any future purchases for change of mind requests.
6. Non-Refundable Items
- Used or worn-out items past the 30 days duration
- Gift cards and store credit
